Early Circassian work, the handle and pendant are made of silver, finely engraved and blackened with characteristic motifs on a zigzag matte ground and gilded.

A guard with the names of the owner and manufacturer, inscribed and blackened on both sides in the muthanna technique (mirror writing technique), reading: MOHAB ALHAJ and HASSAN BEK (1805/6 AD) Wooden scabbard covered with black leather with shalwar fasteners made of separately applied red morocco, bordered with silver gilded braid or braid; rare and very a rare treatment: the central and lower fasteners are connected by a small blackened silver button and a gilded braid. The slightly curved blade with a dole, made by hand, is very well balanced and decorated with three stamps in the form of a man on the moon on each side. Dated 1805/06. Scuffed handle, suspension strap with an open seam on the back, wooden scabbard with cracks and losses, leather with open seams, leather and braid are worn. A very similar copy belonging to the Caucasian collection of the State Historical Museum, Moscow, is found in E.G. Astvatsaturyan, Weapons of the peoples of the Caucasus.
